Camden National Corporation Announces Quarterly Dividend - 3/25/2008

CAMDEN, Maine, March 25, 2008 -Robert W. Daigle, president and chief executive officer of Camden National Corporation (NASDAQ®: CAC; the "Company"), announced today that the Board of Directors of the Company declared a $0.25 per share dividend payable on April 30, 2008 for shareholders of record on April 15, 2008. The $0.25 per share dividend is an increase of $0.01 per share, or 4.2%, from the $0.24 per share dividend declared for the same period a year ago.
